Guideline

  Welcome to Paradisa!

The sole purpose of our guideline is to enable all residents of PARADISA – and that includes people, locals and immigrants, animals and plants – to live in peace, freedom and dignity. The guidelines and regulations contained herein protect our common space in an undogmatic way, held in love, awareness and mindfulness. Freedom for us does not mean doing whatever you want in every moment, but living a connected, real life in every moment. Of course, this guideline also applies to all business matters in PARADISA, because life and work are one for us and not separate from each other.

PARADISA is where individual personalities meet. A village full of free spirits and entrepreneurs who live a life of freedom and self-determination.

That conflicts can arise where people with different life experiences and perspectives meet is natural and a ground for common growth.

Intercultural aspects and the transition into a foreign cultural environment as well as the departure from familiar ways of life challenge each and every one of us to expand our inner limitations and in some cases to dissolve them completely.

Freedom also means saying goodbye to supposed securities that have been presented to us as such.

Everything that keeps us from being love and living love will gradually come up, especially in contact with pure nature. This can at times lead to a feeling of emotional overload.

All people living and working in PARADISA agree to respect the formulated values and guiding principles as stated in this guide.

They commit themselves to request mediation in case of a fermenting or open conflict, or to participate in mediation if they are part of the conflict.

In mediation, the PARADISA team chooses methods that are appropriate to the situation, such as constellation work, whereby the person requesting mediation can choose which of the suitable team members will lead the mediation process.

In this sense, we would like to see people who are willing to look behind the surfaces of conflicts and resolve the issues in depth, which means liberation for all involved.

Nature is our greatest asset

The local nature is pure and in large parts untouched. It is our habitat and our greatest asset. Nature gives us physical and spiritual nourishment, health and variety. The more pristine nature and the food we obtain from it, the more it contributes to the development of our original being and the preservation of our body. Therefore, it is extremely important to PARADISA to interfere with nature as little as possible. Many shadows of the "civilised world" have not yet arrived here. For what harms nature and people, we seek and find better alternatives, which we establish in PARADISA without being radical.

Back to our true, luminous, human being core

The earth and everything that lives here is sacred - including human beings. Therefore, we also want to interfere with human nature as little as possible. Instead, we prepare the ground for a true vitality of body, mind and soul.

PARADISA does not follow ideologies. It is important to us to savour life in its full beauty! Paradisians want to find back into their authentic being and unleash their true core of being and let it shine. PARADISA is not about romantic esotericism, but about experiencing the true nature of body, mind and soul.

This guide aims to help us connect with this inherent power in everyday life and step out of social and family programmes. It supports a clear and loving togetherness for us and our children.

Genuine encounter, deep connection and benevolent togetherness

While words often create division, deep perception and understanding of the other person creates connection. It is not opinions that cause division or the formation of camps, but the fears and unconscious desires that are hidden behind these opinions. In PARADISA, we are all invited to resolve seemingly insoluble differences trustingly in a 'Sacred Space' with appropriate mediators.

We build on the conscious self-reflection of the individual and the willingness to pacify different points of view and points of disagreement with the spiritual and psychological tools available to all. We want to make sure that even those who do not like to share themselves openly are heard and seen, and avoid tiring fruitless discussions. In PARADISA, many things are handled differently than you may be used to. Feel free to ask questions that will help you appreciate this difference before you criticise or condemn it.

A happy fulfilled life requires new interpersonal and social approaches. PARADISA is oriented towards the true nature of human beings and the environment and not towards artificially trained approaches and values.

Paradisians learn from nature and let go of views and ideas that have so far negatively influenced our lives. In this way we serve the people and the earth and enable us all to live in peace, freedom and dignity!

Paradisa provides infrastructure and security on site

The PARADISA team provides access to water, electricity, internet and permaculture. A security concept is provided and, together with PARADISA World apart, the physical security of all Paradisians is ensured.

Decisions on joint purchases

Decisions on communal purchases are made jointly. However, it is not always possible to resolve issues through democratic voting, as each of us has a different level of knowledge and different priorities in our orientation. Decisions are made by the PARADISA team on the basis of facts (also about country-specific conditions) and communicated transparently. It is essential that purchases must comply with PARADISA's guiding principles, whose sole focus is to preserve the nature of the place and protect the people who live here.

Motorboats, yachts, sailboats

PARADISA has a largely intact aquatic and underwater world including active coral reefs and their diverse inhabitants. Whales and dolphins, water turtles and other happy sea creatures can be found here and it should stay that way. For this reason, not every individual can own a yacht or motorboat, at least not locally. We therefore acquire motor boats for transport and recreational enjoyment as community property and share them with each other. We recommend consciously considering the private acquisition of yachts and motorboats, as they seriously interfere with nature. Professionals in water sports are exempt from this and in the private sector sailing boats of all kinds can be used with a makeshift engine for emergencies.

Network technology and radio radiation

Reliable internet access is provided to the extent needed for online business activities. However, to protect nature and health, we would like to keep radiation (EMF, Wifi, Bluetooth, etc.) as low as possible in our Beach Village, according to the motto "as much as necessary, as little as possible". We also support wired solutions (LAN) for working on the internet. All purchases that generate further radiation, waves, energy or similar must first be discussed with the PARADISA team. The team will consult experts and make a decision with integrity for the benefit of all. Should internet access be restricted or interrupted by the government or worldwide for political or similar reasons, PARADISA accepts no liability.

Livestock farming and fishing

As PARADISA aims to enable all living beings to live in peace, freedom and dignity, the keeping and slaughter of farm animals for consumption is not permitted in PARADISA Beach Village. It is also forbidden to commission people in the vicinity of PARADISA Beach Village to keep farm animals for consumption. Export business or business in PARADISA that involves the killing of animals is not permitted. The consumption of meat is not forbidden in principle, but we ask for mindfulness and a conscious approach in all areas of consumption. Fishing and angling with small nets in the Malagasy tradition is permitted and there will be restaurants with fish on the menu at PARADISA Beach Village. Fish and seafood are part of the natural diet on site.

Children (including children of the local tribes) and dogs are allowed to roam freely in PARADISA Beach Village. Dangerous dogs are excluded.

Chemicals and waste

The use of harmful chemicals as cleaning agents, detergents and personal hygiene products should be kept to a minimum at PARADISA Beach Village. Sun cream and other cosmetic products shoauld also be of natural origin as far as possible. PARADISA World Apart organises its own waste management. Our aim is to dispense with plastic and packaging materials as completely as possible. Any waste generated is sorted into organic, inorganic and hazardous waste and recycled or disposed of in accordance with local standards.

Partying and drug use

There will be regular music and dance events in the community area on the beach. For a joyful coexistence, we ask that alcohol be enjoyed only in a mindful and moderate manner.

Hard drugs are not allowed in PARADISA. Consumption on site may lead to exclusion from the community by vote. The share will be referred as soon as possible after consultation with the PARADISA team.

"Psychedelic substances" may be used in a therapeutic setting. Please ask the PARADISA team which substances are counted as such to avoid misunderstandings.

Media consumption and computer games

PARADISA stands for liveliness and truthfulness. An important prerequisite for this is to stay away as far as possible from media that keep us from real life and real encounters and influence us negatively. These include television, Netflix, PlayStation and computer games. In and around PARADISA Beach Village, a large contingent of adventures and employment opportunities will be created, such as water sports, horse riding, hiking, quad and motorbike riding, meditation groups, art studio and much more. PARADISA wishes for real truthful encounters and pure enjoyable living for adults and children. Media and computer games distract us from real experience. In fact, we watch artificially created characters live, while our own lives remain uninspired and unfulfilled. The damaging effect of first-person shooters and similar games on the psyche cannot be ignored. These games create a field of violence and put the consumer, or player, permanently in a state of fight or flight.

In PARADISA we live in the middle of the jungle with wild animals, both on land and in the water. Our children and ourselves should not be endangered by roaming through the jungle in Fight or Flight mode. Paradisians wish to live in a peaceful atmosphere that is endangered by ball games and excessive media consumption. Therefore, media consumption and computer games are largely avoided. Game consoles and baller games are not allowed in PARADISA Beach Village. Real life on site will soon absorb you and your children to such an extent that you will no longer be able to imagine ever having found any interest in this form of entertainment. By living in PARADISA, Paradisians give their children the chance to get to know real life and to find their way back to their original strength, both physically and mentally.

Respect for the Fadis, the indigenous people

Fadis are, similar to the Polynesian taboos, behaviours that are not allowed. Basically, it is important to know the fadis of the respective districts, both in everyday life in PARADISA Beach Village and when travelling on the island. There are laws at work here that are beyond our control. Out of respect for the culture of the country and for their own safety, Paradisians adhere to these natural guidelines. For example, in some areas it is forbidden to work or fish on certain days. If in doubt, check with the PARADISA team before exploring the island.

Covid and vaccinations

The PARADISA team has dealt with this topic intensively in the context of healing and discharges and has found that the Covid vaccinations deeply interfere with the energy system and the original nature of the human being. PARADISA does not see itself in a position to be able to provide support with regard to vaccination side effects. Freedom, living with dignity and conscious choices are fundamental values of PARADISA and arbitrary commands and prohibitions do not stop us from making and living our own choices. Paradisians should not be inoculated against Covid. We also want to prevent divisions in PARADISA Beach Village in case similar events occur again, as during the so-called Corona Pandemic.

Liveliness and tranquillity

Life at PARADISA Beach Village is full of adventure, joy and freedom. This requires liveliness. There are play areas for adults and children, where it can also get noisy sometimes. If you are sensitive to noise, please choose a property that is far enough away from these areas.

Choose the way via the Paradisa Team

One of our priorities is to live together joyfully and amicably at eye level with the local population. PARADISA is very welcome here and we want to keep it that way. Therefore, only the PARADISA team can act on behalf of PARADISA. Otherwise, with 81 shareholders, confusion would quickly arise among the population. We have wonderful Malagasy staff who know their stuff and ensure that everyone (locals and immigrants) have the best possible experience of living together. We also advise every Paradisian to seek the support of the PARADISA team when entering into business relationships with suppliers and the like for their own local business.

This guide will be further developed and optimised based on our experience and in collaboration with experts such as marine biologists. We trust you to feel and engage with us to appreciate the good intentions of this guide.

Thank you!
